Nine new mid-power models have been added to the 300-V dc input Mini family of dc-dc converters from Vicor Corp. The additions include 100-W versions at 2 and 3. 3 V out, and 150-W models at 5, 12, 15, 24, 28, 36, and 48 V out. Efficiencies range up to 89% for the higher output voltages. The Mini converters come in five environmental grades, with six pin options and three baseplate options. They can also be configured in any combination using the company’s PowerBench tools, which allow a customer to configure an infinite array of custom module designs online and verify them in real time. RoHS-compliant versions are also available. The modules are a compact 2.28 by 2. 2 by 0.5 in., with a height above board of 0.43 in. The 300-V in Mini family now includes 17 models spanning 2 to 24 V dc and 100 to 250 W. They incorporate Vicor’s patented low-noise Zero-Current and Zero-Voltage Switching, which greatly reduces the design effort and filtering costs. NICKEL THIN-FILM RTDS EXPAND TEMPERATURE-SENSOR FAMILY
